Invisible Prevention and Performance Management:Integrating Community Policing Actions into the MDA Performance Indicators of the Civil Police of Minas Gerais

This article analyzes the gap in the Performance Improvement Methodology (MDA) of the Civil Police of Minas Gerais regarding the visibility and measurement of community policing actions. Based on bibliographic research, documentary analysis and interviews with police authorities, it proposes the inclusion of preventive indicators in the MDA, in order to align productivity targets with proximity practices. The study highlights the potential of these actions to strengthen institutional legitimacy, crime prevention strategies and social trust.
