About the Journal

The Avante Journal is a free, open-access, biannual, interdisciplinary journal published by the Civil Police Academy of Minas Gerais. The purpose of the journal is to disseminate technical, scientific, and professional knowledge in areas related to Public Security and the Judicial Police. The Avante Journal accepts submissions every six months in the following formats: original articles, review articles, and case reports. The journal is available in both print and digital formats, which can be accessed on the ACADEPOL website: https://revistaavante.policiacivil.mg.gov.br.
